FAQ

Are dogs allowed?
We are pet lovers, but we can only allow service dogs inside the café

Can I make a reservation?
Absolutely! Please head over to our Reservations page. If your desired time is not available, we welcome you to join us for brunch or dinner on a walk-in basis!

Why do you charge 5€ per person for a reservation No-Show?
When a reservation doesn't show, we still hold a table for at least 15 minutes that otherwise could be used to seat and serve other guests. The 5€ per person charge is a way to help cover the costs of unattended tables.

How does the waitlist work?
Upon arrival, please check in with the host. If we have a table available to accommodate your party we will seat you straight away. If not, we will quote you a time frame for the wait. We will do our best to seat you as soon as possible, but kindly keep in mind the time frame we quote is an estimate and the reality might differ. We will call your party name when the table is ready so please make sure to have someone paying attention in the waiting area!

How long is the wait?
It varies. During the week, the café can be quite busy from 11am until 2pm. On weekends, the café is often busy all day. Wait time can be anywhere between 15 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on the day of the week and the weather. Generally speaking, we recommend coming either earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon.

Dinner generally does not have a wait.

Can we split the bill?
After several instances of 'splitting the bill gone bad', we've decided to not allow multiple payments. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Are you a laptop friendly space?
No laptops are allowed in the café as we want to encourage you to enjoy the environment and the good company of others around you.

Do you have high-chairs or boosters for children?
We do not have any accommodations for young diners. Please let us know if you would prefer a table rather than a bar seat for the comfort of your party. As the café is quite cozy, there is limited space for strollers & baby prams. We may ask you to leave them by the entrance for the comfort of other guests.

Is there wheelchair access?
House of Small Wonder is accessible for wheelchairs. Kindly inform a staff member upon arrival so we can assist. It may take approximately 10 minutes to coordinate.
